Supporting National Development
With the multitude of nation-wide construction projects in the government pipeline, PT Baria Bulk Terminal readily supports the demand for petroleum products in the industry. Meeting product specifications and timely delivery are part of our commitment to support Indonesia's growing infrastructure.
Indonesia is going through a nationwide developmental phase as the government pushes for more infrastructure projects across the archipelago. In addition to the construction of roads, harbors, airports, and bridges connecting major cities, Indonesia is also focusing on improving its maritime infrastructure. Budget allocation for infrastructure development has seen a sharp increase over the past few years, from Rp 256,1 Trillion in 2015 to Rp 415 Trillion in 2019 – an increase of a significant 62%.
In response to the national plan, Baria Bulk Terminal expanded its facilities in 2016 to increase our storage capacity to 65,000 metric tonnes. This allows for sizable shipments to and from our terminal, easing transport to outside Java Island reaching international waters. We also have a PLB (Pusat Logistik Berikat) facility in place, supporting the newly launched policy to increase logistics efficiency, ease import/export activities, and raw material availability across Indonesia.
