In addition to convenient direct in-land transportation, the terminal serves as a coastal supply base to the Indonesian archipelago by barges and tankers, as well as international waters. As a fully integrated bulk oil terminal, BBT has two of its own jetties extending towards the Java Sea, and can accommodate tankers up to 30,000 DWT. The details of the jetties are outlined below:
